Last night Katlyn and I had the privilege of helping Kerry Keller out with the first ever marriage proposal at Truly Unique Country Weddings. George (pictured) proposed to his girlfriend (now fiance) Kirsten after sending her on a scavenger hunt ala Bourne/Da Vinci Code.
We helped him light 300+ candles around the Truly Unique Country Weddings site only to have it rain by the time Kirsten got there. That being said, it was still very romantic and the main thing is that she said yes!
We're working on putting some video together from this very special occassion for George and Kirsten as well as Kerry at TUC Weddings and our blog. Stay tuned.

Cold Feet and Wedding Insurance
Here's a video from Howcast user Rose Viggiano called How To Deal With Cold Feet Before Your Wedding. It's actually a very practical look at the decision process you should go through if you're getting cold feet. You can have a watch below.
At the end of the video they mention wedding insurance that's available against cold feet, so I checked it out. There doesn't seem to be an option available in Canada, but I did find wedsafe.com who provide a variety of wedding related insurance policies. They even have stories about clients that have used the services and what they've used them to cover.
So for all you worry warts out there, you can even insure your wedding. Hopefully you won't need it!
